Dorothy Grieb Obituary
Dorothy A. Grieb, 83, of Flemington passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at UPMC Haven Place.
Born May 16, 1940 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Ernie Pearce and Mary A. Sayers (Angelo) Gardner.
Dorothy was a 1958 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.
On November 20, 1965, she married Harold L. Grieb with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.
Dorothy was employed as a bookkeeper at Paul Mack Insurance.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Dorothy enjoyed reading, knitting, crafting and bowling. She also loved taking motorcycle rides with her husband, Harold.
In addition to her husband, Harold of Flemington, she is survived by her children, Vicki (Kerry) Stover of Flemington and Mark Grieb of Lock Haven; a brother, Ernie Pearce of Lock Haven; two sisters, Valerie Swisher of Lock Haven and Roberta Gardner (James) Dwyer of Woolrich; two grandchildren, Kara and Hunter (Brooke) Stover; and a great granddaughter, Hazel Stover.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son and Vicki's twin brother, Howard Grieb; and her sisters, Vicki Pearce, Bonnie Young and Joy McGill.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12 P.M. until the time of the service.
