Helen M. Mayes, 72, of 185 Tobacco Shed Road, Lock Haven passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at her home.
Born on March 7, 1945 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Ramser Dugan.
Helen was a graduate of Lock Haven High School.
For more than twenty years, she was a farm girl, working for Ramm’s Farm.
Helen was a member of the Avis American Legion.
She enjoyed crocheting, but the real love of her life was her family, especially her great grandsons.
Surviving is her only child, Susan Miller (Travis Braim) of Woolrich; two grandchildren, Mary Grieb Jodun (Rusty Miller, Jr.) of Loganton and Steven Grieb of Lock Haven; two great grandchildren, Dakota and Mason Jodun; and three sisters: Grace Walk, Betty Koch, and Geneva Duck.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Ralph, Bob, Jim, and Raymond Dugan and a sister, Eldora Croak.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
